Campus Infrastructure:
The campus at Terna Engineering College is huge but not as good as other colleges. There is a big enough central ground. Many equipment’s in the lab are faulty. Fees:
BTech Fee: Rs. 61,000/year
MTech Fee: Rs. 75,000/year
Faculty:
The faculty at Terna Engineering College is relatively less experienced and therefore not competent. One faculty appears to be a 15 year old (though, according to students, he teaches satisfactorily). The telecom department has a decent faculty.
Attendance:
Terna Engineering College is very strict regarding attendance. 75% is a must otherwise parents are called and given a sound lecture. If less than 40% students are detained. Seems like some kind of Bio-metric system has been installed for the attendance management of the students and the staff, so beware.
Crowd:
Half the students are villagers. Boys to girl’s ratio is 6:4. All in all, an average crowd.
Canteen:
The canteen at Terna Engineering College is very spacious with unhygienic yet edible food. A lot items on the menu, from Chinese to juices and milkshakes, everything is economical and fairly priced. There is this kind of royal (not so much) sofa arrangement which can seat an entire group and is preferred over the other table arrangements. The chocolate milk being the most expensive at Rs.20. Nice.
Hangouts:
Not many places to hangout which doesn’t matter as people in this college rarely go out. Nearest place to hangout is at the station.
Festivals:
Terna's technical festival ‘AVALON’ takes place in September. Most of the events are robotic centered, and otherwise is quite dull. But the participants are quite zealous and show great efforts in making their 'mean-machines’. The cultural festival of Terna Engineering College ‘Resonance’ takes place in March.
Placements:

The Training and Placement Cell was set up in 1995 with a view to provide necessary impetus to launch students of Terna into the real world where cut-throat competition is the order of the day. The Training and Placement Cell plays a vital role in finding suitable job opportunities for students and tying up with industries and professional organizations for fruitful and mutually beneficial linkages.
Among the top recruiters that visit Terna each year for campus placements are CMC Ltd, Atos Origin India Pvt. Ltd, TCS, L&T, Hexaware Technologies, Computer Science Corporation, Godrej InfoTech, etc.
Also, TEC has established a student portal as an initiative to raise the overall placements. The portal CoCubes.com help companies engage and hire authenticated students efficiently from campus and beyond.
TCS, a leading IT Company bulk recruited 82 students from Terna 2013 batch, Hexaware picked 7, followed by L&T InfoTech (4), Computer Science Corporation (4), IBM (3) and Godrej InfoTech (4).
Around 60% placements were observed for 2013 batch in TEC.Comparing placements with 2012, Companies like Teradata, Quinnox, Iris Business Service Pvt Ltd, etc. recruited a good number of students from 2012 but didn’t come up for 2013 batch. Also TCS recruited a lump sum of 140 students from 2012 batch.

The statistics show that the placements are unbiased and are almost equal for all the four branches.
The College also has a Career guidance and Higher Education cell. The cell was established in June 2009. It is a novel inception of its kind to facilitate the students of Terna Engineering College with guidance in choosing the best career options after graduation. The cell not only provides information and help students to analyze for them the best suitable career choice but also train them with various levels of programs, workshops, seminars for an overall development of the students.
Terna Engineering College is definitely trying hard to tie up with many companies and raise their placement records and hence raise its position among the list of top engineering Colleges of Mumbai.
